The Statistics

There are 5 types of workplace violence, preceded by 5 stages of violent behavior. Workplace violence never occurs unless there is an individual(s) involved. 

Something has to take place leading up to and or prior to any threat, or violent act and those are identified using the diagram above.

 

Using proper situational awareness techniques are essential to identifying potentially aggressive behavior.
